Lift More Weight | Increase Your Speed | Fix Your Olympic Lifts

Do You Know Something is Off in Your Olympic Lifts?

    • Do you need to be faster under the bar?
    • When weight gets heavy does everything fall apart?
    • Have your strength numbers gone up but your Olympic lifts remained the same?
    • Are you receiving the same feedback on your lifts with no improvement?
    • Do you feel overwhelmed trying to figure out how to improve your lifts?

When we improve our technique we improve our lifts. We’re able to lift more weight. We get faster, the lifts feel quick and snappy. It is time to make the corrections!

Here is how Shawn Lewis Used Olyeye to Reach New PR's

Shawn Lewis

"What helped me the most is you would slow down the movements and highlight the areas for improvement. What I would do is record my own lifts, and put them up side by side with your videos so that I could look for the same issues in my lifts.  Because I do not have a coach watching my lifts everyday, this was extremely helpful.  It allowed me to look at one aspect of the lift at a time and see if improvements could be made.”

What will you get from Olyeye?

Lift more weight:

When you improve your technique the movements work with you. The bar jumps off the hip explosively as you’re able to accelerate under the bar to receive it. And… you’re able to do all of this with much less effort and energy.

Increase your speed:

Speed under a heavy bar is vital to successful weightlifting. We increase our speed by improving our technique. If we’re in good positions and drive correctly then the bar is able to accelerate up while we’re able to accelerate our body down under the bar to receive it. It is so simple once you see the fix!

Fix your Olympic lifts:

Consistent progress and improvement is something we all work towards. If your Olympic lifts have been stagnant then it is time to fix them. Get back to making gains!

“I've been watching the Olyeye videos and I can feel they are working. My old max was 170lbs. on a lucky day. Now I'm pretty much power snatching 175lbs.

Fix Your Lifts When You Learn "Cause" vs "Symptom"

When you "miss forward" that is a SYMPTOM!

There is something in the lift that CAUSED you to "miss forward!"

A specific example - When an athlete’s body weight is set into the heel and the bar is rolled tightly to the shin the athlete will often push the bar forward off the hip. As the weight gets heavier this leads to missing forward.

So, the symptom was “missing forward.”

What caused the athlete to miss forward was how they were set up in the start position. - Fix the start position!

Just thinking "Don't Miss Forward," "Stay Back" or "Pull Harder" will not fix the underlying CAUSE!

Olyeye will teach you to see exactly where things were going wrong, and teach you the quick adjustment that will improve the lift!

What is Olyeye?

OlyEye consists of 26 Olympic weightlifting technique lessons.

Each lesson is around 30 minutes long and features Coach Drew Dillon guiding you through the assessment and correction of multiple athletes performing multiple exercises with the goal of improving the Olympic Lifts.

During these reviews you have the opportunity to assess the athletes first.... What would you fix!?

Then... We will highlight what we would fix and why!

We'll be highlighting the "Cause" and how it leads to the "symptom."

You will also learn the corrective drills and movements we are adding into the athletes programming.

You'll also get to see these athletes over time to see how the drills are working and how the issue is being corrected!!

Double Bonus for Coaches… Your lifts and your coaching will improve!

Aaron Capriglione

I think the biggest thing I've gained has been an improvement in being able to pick out some of the smaller things that cause failure.  That was definitely the weakest part of my coaching before I started watching your videos, moving from the big picture problems to the minor faults that only really cause problems when things get heavy.”
